I am not sure where I rank this Typewriter in my collection of 7 🙂 I bought this one in Cash Generator on Cowbridge Road (Cardiff) for £7.99. This is a daisy wheel Typewriter and I was easily able to buy a ribbon + corrector ribbon online. You can use it as an ordinary Typewriter (type as you go) or as Word Processor using the screen. It also has a floppy disk drive that you can save your masterpiece on 🙂 When using the word processing function the text appears on the screen and you can edit it – then just press print when it is ready.

It is actually quite nice to type on but the speed can be a little disconcerting when you are used to a Manual – it felt like it was typing faster than my brain could think. I was foolishly hoping you could buy different daisy wheels with different typefaces (same as the different golf balls for the IBM Selectric) but I don’t think they exist.

This also came in a case but there was no manual. The only manual I could find online was in German but better than nothing. This is my only electronic typewriter, I can’t explain but I have a certain fondness for it and I also find it amusing for some reason.

I liked this design feature where it has a built in compartment for the cable and plug.
